Do I need a business ID to use the Tavoittaja service?
Tavoittaja is intended for companies and registered associations. If you do not have a company or a business ID, you must be an official representative of a registered association. Private individuals cannot use the Tavoittaja service. You can register as a user here.
Can I freely set the sender name for the message?
The sender field must contain your organization’s name or an appropriate abbreviation. The text in the sender field must not be misleading, and you cannot use the name of a public authority or government entity. Using a prohibited sender name will result in automatic account closure.
How do I know if the messages I sent were delivered?
The Tavoittaja interface includes a Message History page where you can check the status of your sent messages and track delivery even by individual phone number. Please note that if the recipient’s phone is off or not connected to the network, message delivery may be delayed until the phone is turned on and reconnects to the network.
Why doesn’t the message I sent appear on the phone, even though it shows as delivered?
The message may be found in your phone’s Spam or Blocked Messages folder, where phones sometimes mistakenly sort incoming messages. This feature is tied to the phone’s operating system, and unfortunately, we have no control over it. Links in the messages can contribute to this, so next time, you might try sending the message without links.
Can I send messages to international numbers?
Yes. Please note that messages sent to international numbers are charged double or more the normal credit amount, depending on the recipient’s country.
I have forgotten the password for my user account.
You can reset your password on the login page by clicking the 'Forgot your password?' link.
Can I request replies to the messages I send?
"Tavoittaja offers two (2) different ways to enable two-way messaging. You can use your own mobile phone number as the sender, allowing recipients to reply to the message and have their responses delivered directly to your phone. Alternatively, you can order a dedicated sending number, in which case replies to your messages can be viewed within the Tavoittaja service.
How do Tavoittaja’s surveys work?
You can create a survey in Tavoittaja and send the survey link via text message to the phone numbers you choose. The responses submitted through the form are stored in the survey, and you can save a report for your own use. Surveys make it easy to collect customer feedback, development suggestions, registrations for small events, and more.
Can I rely on message delivery if I use Tavoittaja?
Tavoittaja is a Finnish service, and our development team is located in Jyväskylä and Helsinki. Messages are delivered via mobile operators operating in Finland. You can reliably track message delivery through the Tavoittaja interface, and you can always contact us if you have any questions.
How do I get access to Tavoittaja’s API (SMS API)?
Aloita rekisteröitymällä Tavoittajan käyttäjäksi. Tästä ei synny mitään avaus- tai kuukausimaksuja. Kun tilisi on aktiivnen, saat tarvittavat tiedot API:n käyttöönottoon Tavoittajan käyttöliittymästä. Viestien lähetykseen tarvitse ainoastaan tilata viestikrediittejä. Our company has multiple message senders — how should we proceed?
You can add other members of your company as Tavoittaja users through the interface, and they will receive their own personal login credentials. This way, the company has a single Tavoittaja account, while each person has their own individual access to the service.

Can I include links in my messages?
